Riniki Bhuyan Sarma, the spouse of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, has documented a Rs 100 crore slander suit against Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, who had claimed misbehavior in giving agreements for PPE at above market rates.
Bhuyan Sarma recorded the suit at the court of Civil Judge No 1 of Kamrup Metropolitan region on Tuesday and it is probably going to come okay with hearing today, her guidance Padmadhar Nayak said.
Another backer Kishor Kumar Dutta told PTI that Sisodia while tending to a press meet on June 4 in New Delhi had made “a few claims that harmed the standing and position” of Riniki Bhuyan Sarma.
“Sisodia pointlessly hauled the name of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma additionally into the debate. To that end we have asserted that harm,” he added.
