BJP report on Birbhum killings will weaken, interfere with CBI probe, says WB CM Mamata Banerjee

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday said a BJP reality tracking down board’s report on Birbhum killings, submitted to party president J P Nadda, will debilitate and obstruct the CBI test into the occurrence.

Eight individuals were singed alive, and one capitulated to wounds later, after the homicide of neighborhood TMC pioneer Bhadu Sheik in Bogtui town close to Rampurhat on March 21.

Erupting at the saffron party, Banerjee said that the report specifies the name of TMC Birbhum area president Anubrata Mondal, which “obviously shows the malignant demeanor of the BJP”.

“The BJP report on Bogtui killings will debilitate and obstruct the test. I censure this disposition of the saffron party,” Banerjee told journalists in the slope town.

She said that there ought not be obstruction from any ideological group into the examination.

“They have referenced my locale president’s name. This is one-sided and noxious demeanor. Without finish of test, how might they name him? It shows they maintain that him should get captured. This is private grudge. They are bring forth a scheme,” she said.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is testing the situation according to Calcutta High Court’s organization. A SIT framed by the West Bengal government was before examining the situation. PTI
