CJI bats for 50% quota for women in judiciary field.

Featuring under-portrayal of ladies in the legal executive, Chief Justice of India NV Ramana on Sunday urged ladies legal counselors to emphatically request 50% portrayal and guaranteed them of his “all out help” to resolve the issue of gender gap in the field of law.

“Enough of concealment for millennia. It’s about time we have 50% portrayal for ladies in the legal executive. It’s your right. It’s anything but an issue of noble cause,” the CJI said at a capacity coordinated by ladies attorneys of the Supreme Court to work with the nine recently designated judges, including three ladies judges. “I don’t need you to cry yet with outrage, you need to yell and request that we need half reservation… With the assistance of every one of you, we might arrive at this objective in the zenith court and different courts. I don’t know whether I will be here or elsewhere. That day I will be cheerful,” the CJI said.
