Karnataka Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (RDPR) Minister K S Eshwarappa, against whom police have booked a case for purportedly abetting the suicide of worker for hire Santosh Patil, on Friday presented his resignation to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
As a political furore emitted, Eshwarappa had on Thursday evening declared his abdication as Minister.
Eshwarappa’s allies, who had assembled close to the Chief Minister’s true home, yelled trademarks asking him not to leave, and against Congress pioneers.
Santosh Patil, a Belagavi-based project worker, was tracked down dead at a lodging in Udupi on Tuesday, weeks subsequent to charging Eshwarappa, who is additionally a senior BJP pioneer, of debasement.

In an indicated self destruction note as a WhatsApp message, Patil had faulted Eshwarappa for his passing.
