Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai on Thursday said actual classes in schools in the public capital would be suspended from Friday till additional orders taking into account an expansion noticeable all around contamination levels.
The choice came after the Supreme Court on Thursday pulled up the Delhi government for continuing actual classes in schools in the midst of an ascent noticeable all around contamination levels in the city.

“We had resumed schools considering the estimate that air quality would improve. Nonetheless, the air contamination levels have expanded again and we have chosen to close schools from Friday till additional orders,” Rai said.
Subsequent to staying shut since November 13, actual classes in schools, universities and other instructive foundations had continued from Monday. PTI
