Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray criticized the BJP and said that only the Enforcement Directorate, Income Tax department, and CBI are powerful parties in the National Democratic Alliance.
During an interview with Sanjay Raut, a member of Rajya Sabha and the executive editor of Shiv Sena’s ‘Saamana’ newspaper, Thackeray criticized the Central government for the conflicts in Manipur. Thackeray also mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is unwilling to visit the northeastern state.
Thackeray criticized the BJP-led NDA at a recent meeting, saying that when elections are near, the BJP considers their government as the NDA government. Once the elections are finished, the government led by Modi takes charge, he said.
A group of leaders from 38 political parties that are part of the NDA met in Delhi last week.
On the same day, 26 opposition parties, including the Shiv Sena (UBT), met in Bengaluru. They all agreed to name their coalition as Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA).
The political parties against the ruling BJP say that they are using government agencies in the wrong way to go after their opponents.

Thackeray said that before implementing a Uniform Civil Code, the BJP should make a law to ban cow slaughter throughout India.
The ex-chief minister of Maharashtra said that if everyone is treated the same by the law, then the corrupt people in the BJP should also be punished.
He also claimed that the true Shiv Sena is where the Thackeray family is.
