External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar showed up in New York following his visit to Washington DC and will meet United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres on Thursday.
India’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador TS Tirumurti got Jaishankar on Wednesday evening on his appearance here.
Tirumurti tweeted that Jaishankar would “be meeting UN Secretary General @antonioguterres during his visit”.

Jaishankar and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh were in Washington DC for the 2+2 Ministerial Dialog with their US partners Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd J Austin III.
From DC, Singh ventured out to Hawaii for a little while to the base camp of United States Indo-Pacific Command.
He will likewise visit the central command of the US Army Pacific and Pacific Air Forces during his short stay in Hawaii. PTI
