Sushma Anand, the wife of filmmaker Vijay Anand, died at her home in suburban Mumbai after having a heart attack. She was 84 years old. Sushma lived in the Pali Hill area of Bandra and although she was experiencing the typical health problems of old age, she did not have any major health issues. She was about to eat her lunch and was going to sit on the chair when she fell down. Her housekeeper and son Vaibhav rushed over to her and tried to communicate with her, but she did not reply. They quickly took her to Holy Family Hospital. The doctors said she was dead and had a heart attack,” said Kukko Shivpuri, a manager at Ketnav Studio.
