Sushma Anand, the wife of filmmaker Vijay Anand, died after her heart stopped beating at her home in suburban Mumbai. She was 84 years old. Sushma passed away at her house in the Pali Hill area of Bandra on Sunday. Although she was feeling a bit sick because of her old age, she did not have any specific health problems.
