Senior Congress pioneer Mallikarjun Kharge on Wednesday claimed that the G-23 pioneers were endeavoring to break the party by proceeding to hold gatherings even after the Congress Working Committee (CWC) had examined ‘all’ issues during its new gathering.
He said nobody can debilitate party president Sonia Gandhi as the whole Congress, “from the roads to the public capital”, is with her.
Kharge’s swipe at the G-23 pioneers came even as they are planned to meet in the evening at Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal’s home to chalk out additional methodology, after the CWC meeting on Sunday rested “full confidence” in Gandhi and requested that she start changes to fortify the party.

“Allow them to complete 100 gatherings. Nobody can debilitate Sonia Gandhi ji. The Congress party is with her from the roads to Delhi. These individuals will proceed to meet and give addresses,” he said.
“Sonia is making all strides that have been talked about at the CWC. If they (G-23 pioneers) actually talk like this, it implies they are attempting to break the party,” Kharge further said.
The G-23 pioneers have been incredulous of the party administration and have been requesting an authoritative upgrade. PTI
