Home Minister Amit Shah reviews Indo-Bangla border situation in Assam; interacts with locals

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday surveyed the circumstance along the Assam-Bangladesh line from the Mankachar area of the state.

Shah, who showed up at the Kamakhya Hilltop through a chopper prior in the day, offered supplications at the sanctuary there prior to leaving for the Mankachar.

He was invited by authorities of the BSF and the state government at the line station.

The Home Minister, joined by BSF authorities, surveyed the line circumstance from a perception tower set up for the event. He was additionally seen interfacing with neighborhood residents, who had assembled nearby.
