Bengaluru : Previous Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Friday admonished party pioneers in Karnataka to cooperate and set an objective to win 150 seats in the Assembly races due the following year.
Tending to a party meeting here, he said Karnataka has a “feeling of Congress” and is a “characteristic Congress State”.
“….we ought to win with at least 150 seats (in the 224-part Karnataka Assembly),” Gandhi said. “We ought to battle joined together, on right issues and with merit as measures”.
He said the “greatest obligation” for party pioneers Siddaramaiah, D K Shivakumar, and Mallikarjun Kharge and others is to battle together and win 150 seats.

“We ought to zero in on youth and ladies in this political decision whether in giving ticket or in association,” Gandhi said.
“I have full certainty that the Congress will win with clear greater part and give an administration that works for poor people, little dealers and all areas,” said Gandhi.
