A day after the Union Cabinet supported a Bill to combine the city enterprises of Delhi, state Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today said the Aam Aadmi Party would stop legislative issues assuming the BJP led MCD races on schedule and wins.
“Assuming that the BJP defers races out of dread of misfortune, it would add up to gagging the voice of individuals. I challenge the BJP to lead MCD races on schedule. We will stop governmental issues on the off chance that the MCD decisions are hung on schedule and the BJP wins them,” Kejriwal said.

He said the deferment of MCD surveys was an affront to the memory of saints Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev (whose Martyrdom Day falls on March 23) taking note of that they forfeited their lives for a vote based system while battling the British rule.
“Deferring MCD surveys adds up to an attack against democracy,” CM Arvind Kejriwal said.
