On July 22nd, in Thane, a 23-year-old man died after his motorcycle hit a pothole and a concrete mixer truck ran over him. The accident happened on Hajimalang Road at around 11. 30 pm on Thursday, and the truck driver was arrested. The man, named Suraj Gavari, tried to avoid the pothole but lost control of his motorcycle and fell on the road just as the truck was passing by at high speed. He died instantly, and his body was taken to a hospital for examination. The truck driver has been charged and arrested under the Indian Penal Code and the Motor Vehicles Act.
