Kolkata: CM Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday said she won’t ever permit a different state to be cut out of West Bengal while attacking the Opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
“The BJP circumvents saying it will partition Bengal. I’m prepared to give my blood yet I wouldn’t permit this,” she said at a political meeting at Alipurduar in north Bengal in the midst of requests from some BJP pioneers for a different state enveloping north Bengal regions. BJP’s state initiative has limited any association with the interest.
The security of Banerjee, who is enjoying the great outdoors in north Bengal and holding political and regulatory gatherings in Alipurduar and Jalpaiguri locale, was fixed after a video purportedly showing Jiban Singha, the fleeing head of the restricted Kamtapur Liberation Organization (KLO), making a new interest for a different state and compromising her surfaced on Sunday.

“A few chiefs are compromising me that on the off chance that I don’t permit the different state to be framed out of north Bengal, then they will me. I let them know if you have the guts point your weapon at me. I have seen a lot of this. Thus, don’t danger me. I know how to make your weapons gruff. This is going on a result of BJP’s help. Whenever a political race draws near, BJP raises the interest of a different state,” said Banerjee. “I felt miserable when the BJP won every one of the seats in north Bengal by making a few bogus commitments. Yet, at no point ever would I get you wrong. It is on the grounds that that is your right. What has the BJP done work date aside from rising prices…,” she said.
In the 2021 gathering surveys, BJP sacked 30 of the 54 seats in the eight north Bengal locale even as TMC cleared back to drive. TMC won 213 of the state’s 294 seats while BJP generally speaking oversaw 77. In the 2019 Lok Sabha surveys, BJP packed away 18 of the state’s 42 seats. In north Bengal, it got seven of the eight seats.

BJP pioneer Rahul Sinha said his party has never done dissident governmental issues. “The association which she is alluding to was supported by her. The Left gave them birth and they were supported by Mamata Banerjee. Assuming that anybody is attempting to wash away aggressiveness, it is the Narendra Modi-drove government.”
