
National Geographic India is prepared to grab the nation’s focus once more for Chandrayaan 3’s intended touchdown. The live broadcast of Chandrayaan – 3 #countdowntohistory on National Geographic Channel and Disney+Hotstar will start at 4 pm on August 23. This will be a few hours before Vikram lands on the moon, which is expected to happen around 5:45 pm IST.
The show, led by Gaurav Kapoor and space experts, will take viewers on an exciting adventure through time and space. It will showcase the countdown to the historic moments as India makes history.
The live show will have important people like astronauts Sunita Williams and Rakesh Sharma, and S Somanath, who is in charge of ISRO. They will talk about why the mission is important for India and the future of exploring space.
Srijan Pal Singh, the CEO and co-founder of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Centre, Chris Hadfield, the former commander of The International Space Station, and Ann Druyan, the creative director of NASA’s Voyager Interstellar Message and an Emmy-winning writer, will come together live to witness a historic moment for India as they countdown to the final moments of their journey to the moon.
