The political conflict in Maharashtra, highlighting Independent MP Navneet Rana and her MLA spouse Ravi on one hand and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray-drove Aghadi government on the other, is escalating continuously. While Ranas met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla in Delhi, the Mumbai police recorded an application looking for the abrogation of their bail, following which an extraordinary court gave them a notification inquiring as to why a Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) ought not be given against them as they have purportedly disregarded the states of the bail.
Navneet said Speaker Om Birla communicated lament over what occurred with her and designated a date for hearing before the Parliamentary Privileges Committee. She will record her assertion before the Committee as the MP of Amravati and assuming charges are viewed as obvious, move will be made against the blamed referenced in the grievance, she said.
“I advised him about what occurred with me- – how I was captured and treated in prison, on whose command misleading allegations were slapped and the way that the Mumbai police official coordinated activity against me. Anything that protest I had, a date has been chosen when I will be approached to give my objection both in a composed and oral organization before the Privilege (Committee),” she was cited as saying.
Navneet said she has additionally looked for time from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. “We are battling legitimately. No BMC official came to our home till we were there. The second we left for Delhi they came to our home for estimations. I don’t care about them taking estimations, I took authorization for the development. Assuming that any move should be made, it ought to be against BMC officials who gave consent,” said Navneet.

As per the new application documented by the police, “The blamed people (Navneet Rana and Ravi Rana) have given meetings to media since their delivery and consequently, spurned the condition forced by the extraordinary court while conceding them bail.”
“We are looking for the bail to be dropped and a warrant to be given to the charged and they be taken in care forthwith” extraordinary public investigator Pradip Gharat told the court. The court will hear the matter further on May 18.
Navneet and Ravi were captured by the Mumbai Police on April 23 after they declared to discuss ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ outside Uddhav’s home ‘Matoshree’ in Bandra. This infuriated Shiv Sena laborers, prompting strain in Mumbai and their capture. They were set up for charges of dissidence and advancing hatred between various gatherings. The exceptional court had on May 4 allowed bail to the couple and forced a few circumstances on them, incorporating not to enjoy a comparative offense and not to address the media.
