‘No crowds to listen’: Congress on PM Modi’s rally cancellation over ‘security breach’

Congress general secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala on Wednesday asserted that the justification behind the cancellation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Ferozepur was an absence of people and not a security breach. Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) boss Jagat Prakash Nadda prior supposed that the Congress-drove Punjab government attempted “every single imaginable stunt” to abandon the top state leader’s program “dreading a reverberating loss” in the impending Assembly surveys.

JP Nadda said that protesters were given access to the PM’s route regardless of affirmations from the Punjab boss secretary and chief general of police that the course was clear.
