Boy coughs by closing his mouth by hands
A PGIMER study reveals a rise in *Bordetella holmesii* infections mimicking whooping cough in north India, particularly in children aged 5-10. This bacterium now causes 37% of cases, surpassing the prevalence of *Bordetella pertussis*. Whooping cough cases are rebounding in Asia.
