On Saturday, three bodies were found by search and rescue teams in the debris of the landslide in Irshalwadi village, Raigad district, Maharashtra. This brings the total number of deaths in the tragedy to 25.
According to a member of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), they found the dead bodies of two women and one man at the place where the landslide occurred on Saturday.
The number of people who died in the landslide has reached 25. The search and rescue team is still looking for 83 people who have not been found yet.
The two women who died were named Mahi Madhu Tirkat (32 years old) and Aashi Pandurang (50 years old). The male who died was named Kishan Tirkat, and he was 27 years old, according to officials.
Teams from the NDRF and other government agencies started looking for people and rescuing them again in the morning at the spot where a landslide happened. The spot is in a hilly area. Today is the third day of looking for something.
