Swearing-in ceremony of BJP govt in UP to be held on March 25

The swearing-in function of the recently chosen BJP government in Uttar Pradesh will be held in the state capital on March 25, a senior government official said on Friday.

The service will occur at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ikana arena in Lucknow at 4 pm on March 25, he said.

Before the function, Yogi Adityanath, who drove the party to a pounding triumph in the just finished up decisions, will be chosen as the head of the House, party sources said.

This is the second back to back term of Adityanath.

Senior BJP pioneers, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP public president J P Nadda, are probably going to go to the occasion, sources said.
