The Taliban shot dead the sibling of Amrullah Saleh, the previous VP of Afghanistan, and his driver in northern Panjshir territory, Saleh’s nephew said on Saturday.
Shuresh Saleh said his uncle Rohullah Azizi was avoiding to some place during a vehicle on Thursday when Taliban contenders halted him at a delegated spot. “As we hear immediately the Taliban shot him and his driver at the designated spot,” he said.

A message left with a Taliban representative on Saturday was not promptly returned.
Shuresh Saleh said it was indistinct where his uncle, an enemy of Taliban contender, was going when the Taliban got him. He said telephones were not working nearby.
Amrullah Saleh drove powers opposing the Taliban in Panjshir, which was the last holdout territory to be overwhelmed by Afghanistan’s new rulers.
Recordings flowing via online media purportedly show the Taliban starting to shoot at hostile to Taliban warriors in Panjshir whom they have captured.
