The Congress party praised the Supreme Court’s decision to suspend Rahul Gandhi’s conviction in a defamation case from 2019. They believe this ruling strongly supports the truth and suggests that nobody can prevent the people from expressing their opinions.
The Congress said it was a “win for love instead of hate. ”
The highest court stopped Gandhi from being found guilty of defamation because of his comment about Modi’s last name.
The head of the Congress party’s communication department, Jairam Ramesh, said that the Supreme Court’s decision is a clear confirmation of what is right and fair.
Rahul Gandhi has not given in to the BJP’s efforts and has chosen to trust the legal system.
“Here’s a lesson for the BJP and their loyal followers: you can try your hardest, but we won’t give up. ” We will keep pointing out and criticizing your mistakes and shortcomings as a Government and as a party. We will keep following and supporting our Constitution and beliefs in our organizations that you really want to destroy. “Truth alone triumphs. ” Ramesh exclaimed
KC Venugopal, Congress’s general secretary in charge of organization, also praised the decision.
“We are happy with the decision of the Honorable Supreme Court to put a temporary stop on Mr. X’s action” @Rahul Gandhi has been found guilty of a crime. Fairness has won. Venugopal said on Twitter that no power can stop people from speaking up.
In a Hindi tweet, the Congress party said that love winning over hate is a victorious moment. “Always speak the truth – Long live India. ”
Congress general secretary Randeep Surjewala also praised the decision, saying that justice has been served.
