Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday introduced and established the framework stone for 821-km public expressway (NH) projects worth Rs 26,778 crore in Uttar Pradesh.
Road Transport and Highways Minister Gadkari initiated and established the framework stone in Kanpur for eight public roadway projects worth Rs 14,199 crore; in Lucknow for 16 NH projects worth Rs 7,409 crore; and in Shringverpur Dham, Prayagraj, for four public interstate ventures worth Rs 5,169 crore, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said.
He initiated and laid the stone within the sight of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, among others.
With the development of Lucknow Ring Road, voyaging will become helpful and with the development of Lucknow-Kanpur Greenfield Expressway; arriving at Lucknow air terminal from Kanpur will take less time.

It will likewise be associated with Lucknow-Agra Expressway, which will diminish the distance to Delhi. With the development of this interstate, one and a half hours will be saved in making a trip from Lucknow to Kanpur.
With the development of the Agra-Etawah sidestep, the movement time from Agra to Etawah will be diminished by 60 minutes. The development of ROB at Kanpur’s Jhakarkati bus stop will give alleviation from gridlocks coming from Prayagraj, Delhi side.
