PM Narendra Modi lays foundation stones of projects worth over Rs 17,500 crore in Haldwani

PM Narendra Modi on Thursday introduced and established framework stones of ventures worth over Rs 17,500 crore here in front of the get together decisions in Uttarakhand.

Lakhwar multi-reason hydro-power project worth Rs 5,747 crore, an AIIMS satellite community for Kumaon worth Rs 500 crore, Moradabad-Kashipur four-path street, further developed street network with Nepal and an Aroma Park in Kashipur are among the key ventures whose establishment was laid by the PM.

The Lakhwar multi-reason task will create 300 MW of power. The 330 million cubic meters water in its repository will supply water system and drinking water to the six territories of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Delhi.

This is Modi’s second visit to the express this month.
