Three people, including a police officer, got hurt in an explosion at a storage place in Khutar police station. The blast happened while they were cleaning.
There was a sudden explosion in a storehouse called ‘malkhana’. This storehouse contains items that the police seized during an investigation. Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Meena reported this to PTI.
Meena said that Police constable Shailendra Shukla, retired constable Jaipal Singh, and the security guard Latif were hurt in the explosion while they were cleaning the storehouse.
People who were hurt have been taken to a hospital nearby, he said.
The cause of the explosion is still not known, according to the SP. They also mentioned that an investigation has been initiated to find out what happened.
