Reliance Jio’s 5G services are being implemented at a very fast pace, faster than any other place in the world. The company is progressing as planned and hopes to provide high-speed internet across the entire country by December of this year, according to RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani.
Reliance Industries’ chairman, Ambani, announced at their 46th AGM that JioAirFiber will be released on Ganesh Chaturthi, which is on September 19.
The number of Jio customers has reached over 450 million. The 5G network of the company reaches almost all the towns in the country, about 96%. They are also working towards covering the entire country by December.
“Jio now has more than 450 million customers, and their revenue has grown by over 20 percent compared to last year,” he said.
Jio’s network is being used a lot more now, with each person using an average of over 25 GB of data every month.
Ambani said that Jio started seven years ago with a goal to change India into a top digital society. He also said that they worked hard to create a digital infrastructure that is highly regarded by the world.
Jio has played a major role in transforming India digitally, he said.
